There is a direct download link from Microsoft hereĭisable all AMD Display/Graphic updates (there were only 2 each time I did this)Īfter this, I stopped crashing entirely when alt-tabbing, the LoadLibrary errors stopped, and Windows no longer overwrites my AMD Drivers. The tool is no longer accessible from any Microsoft Support pages. Run Microsoft's Show/Hide Updates tool (wushowhide.diagcab). Install newest AMD Display driver from AMD directly, not Asus It also caused semi-consistent AMD LoadLibrary errors when any application used the dGPU. ![]() This old driver would cause my system to freeze entirely when tabbing out of fullscreen games or applications, requiring a hard shutdown to unfreeze. Windows Update was constantly overwriting any existing AMD Graphic Drivers with an older version from early 2021, preventing any new drivers from staying installed after rebooting. POTENTIAL FIX EDIT: It looks like this was a driver issue.
